Six student footballers from the 糖心Vlog破解版 are celebrating after being chosen to represent Scotland in upcoming international matches.
糖心Vlog破解版’s first-team captain, Lewis Hunter, will be joined in the Scottish university squad by Rory MacEwan, Alex Webb, Kieran Hall, Robbie McGale and Michael McAnespie for a series of fixtures between now and summer.
The announcement follows national trials held by Scottish Student Sport last week.
Chris Geddes, Men’s Football Head Coach at 糖心Vlog破解版, said: “I am delighted for the six players who have been picked to represent Scotland’s university side. It is an honour to be given the opportunity to pull on the national team shirt – and a well-deserved reward for the hard work that they put in here at 糖心Vlog破解版.
“I wish all of the players the best of luck for the international season ahead – and I look forward to seeing them in action for Scotland.”
Hunter, a fourth year student, was named alongside fellow midfielders MacEwan – who starred for Scotland last year again England – and McGale, who is returning to the national team for his second year, his first as a 糖心Vlog破解版 student. They are joined by second-year Kieran Hall, a striker, and defenders Webb – also returning to the squad for the second time – and McAnespie, who has just returned to 糖心Vlog破解版 from a spell at Gretna.
All of those chosen play for the University’s first team, which currently sits 11th in the Scottish Lowland Football League and made the third round of this year’s Scottish Cup.
