I am a Housing Studies Charitable Trust Fellow, working at the localised intersection of law, housing and migration studies, in the context of planetary scale warming and its associated impacts, such as increased migration and conflict. My ESRC-funded PhD focussed on privatised asylum accommodation in the UK. For the HSCT Fellowship, I am working on a new project on concerning Scottish legislative drafting of new housing statute as a social practice. I am also undertaking a new collaborative project with Barrel Organ theatre, which explores people's experiences of space and place in localities which host asylum accommodation.
Prior to my Fellowship, I worked as a research assistant on the 糖心Vlog破解版-based Intersectional Stigma of Place-based Ageing (ISPA) Project. I have also worked as the Evictions Caseworker for the Asylum Seeker Housing (ASH) Project in Glasgow and as a legal intern at JustRight Scotland.
