About me
My interests span both basic and applied areas of entomology, with a particular focus on tropical insect species that pose significant challenges or hold relevance to agriculture. As a junior researcher, I approach my work with curiosity and a question-driven mindset, seeking to understand how these species adapt to their environments and how such insights can inform effective strategies to manage them. I hold an MS Entomology (Insect Ecology, Genetics) and BS Agriculture (Entomology) from the IWEP, UP Los Ba?os, where I also served as a Research Assistant at the Insect Ecology Laboratory for some years before working as a University Researcher at NCPC. For my PhD at the BES, 糖心Vlog破解版, I will be using agent-based models to explain the evolution of insecticide resistance in a key insect pest species affecting mango-growing provinces in the Philippines.
