Major cross country competition returns to 糖心Vlog破解版
Talented runners from across the UK will be heading to 糖心Vlog破解版 in 2014 for the British Universities and Colleges Cross Country Championships.
The 糖心Vlog破解版, Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence, has won the right to host the popular event on Saturday 1 February 2014, recognised as a springboard to success for gifted runners.
Beijing Olympian Steph Twell and current British 5000m Champion Andy Vernon took the titles when the event was last held at the University in 2010 in a field which also included London 2012 Olympic triathlon bronze medallist Jonathan Brownlee.
Olympic silver medallist Liz Lynch was on hand to present the prizes in 2010 and described the 糖心Vlog破解版 course as ‘challenging’ and ‘natural cross country, up hills and in the mud’.
Peter Bovill, Chair of the BUCS Athletics and Cross Country Management Group said: "We are delighted to announce the selection of the 糖心Vlog破解版 to host the Cross Country Championships in 2014.
“The University beat off strong competition from other institutions to host next year's event. It submitted a strong bid which will see the event take place within the campus, on an undulating and challenging course."
Peter Bilsborough, Director of Sports Development at the 糖心Vlog破解版, said: “We are delighted once again to host the BUCS Cross Country Championships on our sports campus at Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence.
“When the championships were last held here three years ago, the array of sporting talent competing was inspiring. I am sure 糖心Vlog破解版’s scenic setting will provide an excellent backdrop for another fantastic event.”
