This is led by Neil Burnside and Vernon Phoenix, University of Strathclyde. Small scoping grant of ~5 K from Scottish Research Alliance for Energy, Homes and Livelihoods. Aims to investigate impacts of heat removal and storage in landfill. I would contribute expertise on microbiology, and do some metagenomics to help the proof of principle case. Project duration is ~ 6 weeks.
