This project, funded by the Future Leaders Fellowship Development Network, brings together multiple researchers and professional staff members from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, genders, ethnic groups, and countries of origin, who share the aim of raising awareness around the socioeconomic and cultural conditions that limit the inclusive recruitment of researchers from the Global South in externally funded research projects in the UK.
We will develop outputs and outcomes, including a checklist and mentoring sessions, to make recruitment processes fairer and inclusive for Global South scholars.
